The EVO-R4-T Flat Roof Mounting Rail is a premium solution engineered for flat concrete roof solar installations. Made from high-grade, locally extruded aluminum, this rail system is designed to provide secure, corrosion-resistant, and weatherproof support for your solar panels—without drilling or penetrating the roof surface.

  • Designed for Ballasted Installations:
    EVO-R4-T rails are laid flat on concrete roofs, secured in place using concrete blocks as ballast. This system eliminates the need for roof penetration, protecting your waterproofing and making it ideal for both permanent and semi-permanent installations.

  • Flexible Rail Placement:
    For each row of panels (landscape orientation), two EVO-R4-T rails are required: one at the front and one at the rear, or one on each side of the panel. Adjustable brackets (front and rear) are fixed to the rails using EVO-RNW nuts, enabling you to set the perfect tilt for maximum energy production. Portrait orientation is not recommended for this mounting style, but if used, rails should run parallel beneath the length of each panel.

  • Supports Multiple Panel Layouts:
    Two 4.7m EVO-R4-T rail’s are designed to accommodate two landscape panels per row when positioned correctly. For longer arrays, rails can be joined using EVO-SPLICE or spaced as needed to suit your project’s requirements.

Installation Overview

  1. Layout Planning:

    • Arrange panels in landscape orientation for optimal stability.

    • For each panel row, position two EVO-R4-T rails: one at the front and one at the back (or on either side of each panel).

  2. Rail Placement:

    • Lay the rails flat on the concrete roof, ensuring correct spacing for panel width and mounting bracket alignment.

    • For longer runs, join rails as needed to cover multiple panel rows.

  3. Ballast Placement:

    • Place concrete blocks strategically along the length of each rail to weigh the system down securely. This provides robust wind resistance and keeps the structure stable.

  4. Bracket & Panel Attachment:

    • Install EVO-Adjustable brackets to the rails using EVO-RNW nuts.

    • Mount your solar panels onto the brackets, tightening the clamps for a secure fit.

  5. Final Checks:

    • Ensure all nuts, brackets, and ballast blocks are tight and correctly positioned.

    • Confirm that all panels are properly aligned for optimal solar exposure and system performance.
